As avid cyclists and regular users of Strava, we noticed a gap in the market for a platform that offers leaderboards based on multiple segments, not just single ones. This led us to create HurryUp, where athletes can create or join both public and private challenges across a variety of sports.
Currently, HurryUp supports cycling, running, and Nordic skiing. We are also open to expanding our offerings to include other endurance sports in the future.
By connecting your Garmin device to HurryUp, your activities are automatically uploaded to our platform. This allows you to create segments from your activities, which can then be incorporated into challenges, adding a competitive edge to your training.
At this stage, we support Garmin devices exclusively. However, we are actively working to expand our compatibility to include additional devices.
The concept of HurryUp was born out of the passion and experience of Marius Westegaard and his brother, Kristoffer Westgard, both of whom have impressive cycling resumes in Norway. They collaborated with the digital agency Good Morning, led by cycling enthusiast Eirik Fjellaksel, to bring HurryUp to life.
Though the founders balance their commitment to HurryUp with their day jobs, their passion for cycling drives them to continuously develop and enhance the platform. We envision a future where we can dedicate even more resources to support the growing community of endurance athletes using HurryUp.
After a 30-day free trial, a HurryUp subscription costs $5 per month. Should you decide HurryUp isn't for you, cancellation is straightforward and hassle-free.
We welcome interest from the media and are eager to share our story with a wider audience. For inquiries or more information about HurryUp, please contact Eirik at [email protected].
